Costume Frenzy!!

So I was a flapper for Halloween, and I made the costume completely out of T-shirts!! I was worried I was going to look like some kind of stringy monster, but it turned out pretty nice!! I have to thank my friend Rach, because she helped me with my hair, headband, make-up and motivation!! :)

Black and White Doodles

So my friend and I watched Twilight and Juno yesterday. She decided to get out her white nail polish doodle marker and paint some designs on my black nails. See below!!! It was fun.

This reminded me of you, modern marie, because you always showcase your nail color of the moment.

So today was not the greatest day, but I did get some inspiration for my NEW banner!!!

BANNER HELP!!

So I am really annoyed with my above banner. Does anyone have any suggestions? I NEED HELP!

Goals, and I don't mean soccer ones..

So I realized I haven't really written in along time. Well this is my final semester and then I will graduate and head out into the real world. Scary! No I am just kidding. I actually can't wait. Since this is the last semester of my undergraduate life, I figure I should make some goals for myself.

1. Get great grades! I am actually for a 4.0.

2. Become more tech savvy. Luckily, my one class is focussing on Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

3. Think more creatively. I suppose I do already, but I need to write it on paper if I have an idea about something. I really want to open an Esty account! ;)

4. Get in touch with my fashion and trendy side. I notice when I get back to school everything glamourous and fashionable goes out the door. I need to hang on to it even if it is only an accessory.

5. Enjoy all the small things that life has. Sometimes I really let the good things pass me by. I need to harness that energy and let it help me succeed at the above goals.

6. Work on this blog. It really needs some over hauling. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them! :)

I think those are enough goals for now. Hopefully, I will be updating more. I really enjoy reading some of your blogs. I am a little jealous of your wit and charm. Soon enough I will gain that.

musicals are back!

the 81st academy awards were on last night. although i have not seen most of the movies that were nominated, i felt like I knew them. Of course one of my main reasons of watching is the glam and fashion of the whole occasion including the dresses! Below are some of my faves from the night. a little fyi i am going to make it to the academy awards at some point in my life (hopefully soon).
